​Known for his work with the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Zurcher took on this personal project due to the raw beauty of the site and the considerable challenges of constructing a true luxury home at a location accessible only by boat.
The architectural design,  materials, furnishings,  amenities, and the quality of construction are magnificent.

Sitting on the southern tip of Drake Bay, you will arrive at the 1.09-acre property via a short boat tide. 
You will find no cars or crowds here – just picture-perfect 
beaches, lush rainforest, and a spectacular array of wildlife.

Stepping foot onto the sand, you will realize that you have arrived at a very special place.

Warm tropical waters gently lap onto the shore of a secluded beach lined with a towering rainforest canopy.
It is uncommon to find another footprint in the sand, other than your own or those of your guests.

From here, you disappear into the forest via a manicured walking path that leads towards a second beach with beautiful lava 
rock formations jutting up from the sea.
After exploring the beaches you can head back to the walking path leading up to the home. Soon the jungle opens up to reveal the entry to this majestic home.

At the beach house fresh air and the sounds of nature fill the common area while providing a stunning view of the surrounding rainforest canopy from eye level. 

This space is an entertainer’s dream with a design that flows from the formal dining area to the gourmet kitchen with a unique glass breakfast nook, and outside to the whitewater ocean view deck directly overlooking the beach below.

A grand staircase leads up to a glass-enclosed walkway that connects two wings of the home. 

The northern side of the home features an open living space with floor-to-ceiling windows and massive sliding doors that open up the living room to a huge covered balcony.

and  private concrete road leading down to the beach and a Kabota 2800 tractor with trailer​attachment to haul fishing & watersports gear with. ​​

The house  is impeccably landscaped with vibrantly colored tropical horticulture and a variety of mature fruit trees that were strategically planted throughout the property. 

There is a hibiscus-canopied stairway leading from the house down to the beach, adding a fairy-tale vibe to your everyday life.
